“ I just like to enjoy my time in my self-built space. I can come home after a 10-hour day and sitting in the car, saying: “Oh, I cannot move anymore I’m going to sleep”, I come in the door, and look around and immediately my energy goes up again and I feel like Ok, so I start doing something more and all the tiredness like flies away and that always happens to me. It’s good to have this, it gives me security too and of course a lot of pleasure. And now comes the best time cuz I’m mostly working in the garden. Today I can’t do anything cuz I can’t be noisy!”
“How come? Today is holiday and it’s 11 a.m!”
On public holidays you cannot be noisy and do stuff here in Switzerland!
"For many of us, it is an ordinary practice to enter people’s space in our everyday life, being it metaphorical or physical one. These spaces bear stories that are born out of experiences we all have in the moment of living, both consciously and unconsciously, in interaction with the space itself and others in it. We often exit these spaces without realizing these “narratives”. The lived experiences in spaces of daily life are subject of this blog, we attempt to create a synergy between images of these spaces and people’s lived experiences".
